The Logitech G502 mouse is one that I still use to this day, specifically the Lightspeed version. It's served me well and I have never thought of changing mice. Well, until now.

Logitech announced three new G502 X mice with the G502 X Plus, G502 X Lightspeed, and the G502 X. All three have the same similar design, which is a refined G502 shape.

The G502 X is a wired mouse coming in at 89 grams. While the original G502 has HERO 16K sensor, the G502 X comes with a new HERO 25K sensor with resolutions ranging from 100 - 25,600 dpi. The wheel can be switched from free spinning to ratcheted and the DPI-Shift button on the side is configurable and reversible. Logitech is also touting the mouse having the first LIGHTFORCE hybrid switches on the buttons.

Stepping up to the G502 X Lightspeed nets you wireless capability and Logitech is stating it will have a 68% faster response rate over their previous generation mice. The mouse has a battery rated for up to 120 hours of usage and you can recharge it via a USB-C cable or if you have a Power Play mat, you an wirelessly recharge the mouse while you are playing as well.

The top tier G502 X Plus features all the bells and whistles of the G502 X Lightspeed, but you also add some RGB for some extra style. With RGB on, you'll got a lot less battery life as it's estimated to have a 37 hour usage time versus 120 hours. That's still pretty good either way and you can always go with a Power Play mat if you don't want to worry about charging at all.

On release, the G502 X will cost you $79.99, the G502 X Lightspeed will be $139.99, and the G502 X Plus will run you $159.99. All three look really impressive and looks to continue the tradition of the G502 being one of the best gaming mice out there.
