Having reviewed SteelSeries' Arctis Nova Pro Wireless and making it my main gaming headset, I was really stoked to see SteelSeries add more to this line. Today, they announced three new sets of headsets in the Arctis Nova 1, Arctis Nova 3, and the Arctis Nova 7 Wireless. There's a headset to fit every budget level and they all look really solid.

The Arctis Nova 1 is the most budget friendly of the set as it's a wired headset with a similar design as the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless. Coming in at $59.99, the Arctis Nova 1 features 40mm drivers with a frequency response of 20-22,000 Hz and support for 360 degree spatial audio. The strap looks like the same design as the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless to make wearing them comfortable for long periods of time. There's a retractable noise-canceling mic that sits flush with the ear cup when not in use and onboard controls to adjust volume and mic mute. This is a wired headset so you can plug this into any device that has a 3.5mm audio jack.

A step up from the Arctis Nova 1 is the Arctis Nova 3. If you want some color in your headset, the Arctis Nova 3 features RGB on each side letting you show off some style. The 3.5mm wire has been swapped out with a USB-C connector that you can use to connect to your computer via a USB port or a 3.5mm port making this set a little more flexible in terms of connections. The Arctis Nova 3 comes in at $99.99.

Finally, we have the Arctis Nova 7 Wireless, which by its name signifies this set doesn't need to plug into anything. It will come with a USB-C dongle allowing you to connect to your platform of choice over low latency 2.4Ghz. But that's not all as you can also dual connect to a Bluetooth device such as your phone, something we're seeing many wireless headsets do these days. It's got a 38-hour battery life and an improvement over the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless in that the USB-C connector is on the bottom of the earcup instead of hidden under a removable plate. Of course, you can connect this set to a source via a wire if you so desire as SteelSeries includes a USB-C to USB-A cable as well as a 3.5 mm cable. The Arctis Nova 7 Wireless comes in at $179.99.
