New DLC available for Sword of the Necromancer

It's been a while since I did my review of Sword of the Necromancer and while I completed most of the game at that time (didn't quite get the good ending), I now have a reason to go back and give it another go. Grimorio of Games has released some new free DLC for the game that includes three new game modes, ten new monsters to defeat, and eight new bosses to slay. In addition, completing the Extra modes will unlock the Epilogue, a new chapter for the story. The new modes include:

• Challenge Mode: revisit the main game but now everything is a bit randomized as you'll face new enemies and unexpected encounters.
• Colosseum Mode: Starting from level 1 and without any items, you'll face off against hoards of enemies one after the other. Completing combos is your best chance to gain XP, better items, and more importantly, survive.
• Boss Rush: Take on five bosses with no breaks in between. The bosses you'll face will be a mix of old and new and you'll go in with your current adventuring supplies.  Completing this mode will unlock one of the original bosses as a summon.

In addition the DLC includes a Dungeon Builder where you can build your own floor layout, choose what enemies appear where, select the boss, and even what items appear where and their properties. You can then take on your own creation or share it with others. The new DLC is now available for Steam, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.
