Lemnis Gate is going to break FPS players' brains

Frontier Foundry and Ratloop Games Canada today dropped the first developer diary for the new strategy/FPS game Lemnis Gate, and its a doozy. 1v1 rounds are played in a repeating 25-second time loop, with players coming back into the loop as alternate version of themselves. Players will be able to team up with themselves, use themselves as bait, and bring themselves back to life. It's all completely mind-blowing. Take a look:

This is the sort of game that I would love to play with a friend, but would never want to go take on randos online. I just don't have the FPS skills to pull off meaningful runs, no matter how decent my strategies might be. The humiliations would be long and protracted.

The folks behind Lemnis Gate promise more dev diaries and information before the game drops this summer  on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and all of the Xboxes. For more information, visit the Lemnis Gate website at: https://www.lemnisgategame.com/
