Don't worry, Magic: Legends won't be insanely difficult or laughably easy - unless you want it to be.

More On: Magic: Legends

Perfect World Entertainment and Cryptic Studios released a new video and developer blog for Magic: Legends, the upcoming free-to-play action RPG based on Wizards of the Coast’s strategy card game, Magic: The Gathering. The trailer discusses the numerous options for players to customize and tweak difficulty and complexity, creating fresh new challenges to explore in every playthrough. In other words, players can tweak their Magic: Legends experience to their liking and experience level. I, for one, am unfamiliar with action RPGs -- so I'd need some training wheels at first.

In Magic: Legends, players assume the role of a Planeswalker, powerful spellcasters who can travel between worlds. While exploring different planes, players will collect mana-based spells and strategically build out the perfect deck of balanced attacks to control the chaos of the battlefield and save the Multiverse from its greatest threat yet. Magic: Legends will release on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation®4 in 2021.
