InnerspaceVR, the developers of A Fisherman's Tale (aka one of the most innovative VR games to date), is brining its new VR game Maskmaker to Oculus Rift S, Quest (via Link cable only), PlayStation VR, HTC Vive, PC VR via SteamVR on April 20.

Described as a "mystical puzzle VR adventure", Maskmaker put the player in the shoes of a Maskmaker's apprentice. The hook is, when you put on the different masks at your disposal, you are transported to different locations.

Looking at that trailer, it is clear that Maskmaker shares some visual DNA with A Fisherman's Tale, and if InnerspaceVR brings the same level of innovation to its puzzle design as was present in that first game, VR fans are in for a treat.

“Our team set out to create a non-linear adventure that gives players a strong sense of presence as they explore the mysterious universe of Maskmaker,” said Balthazar Auxietre, creative director and co-founder, InnerspaceVR. “We carefully designed the game to help players feel like a real craftsman when creating these intricate masks, and experience the freedom and discovery as they traverse through unique worlds to uncover the secrets of the mask realm.”

Steam users can wishlist Maskmaker here.
