More On: The Uncertain: Light at the End

Moscow-based indie studio New Game Order have released their long-gestating post-apocalyptic title The Uncertain: Light at the End. The game is a narrative-driven puzzle-adventure that takes place in a world ruled by a ruthless mechanical Gestapo. You play as a young woman named Emily, who is trying to escape with her friends from the robots that used to serve them.

I'll be honest, I'll probably pass on this one. I'm not really a fan of the story-heavy, point-and-click genre as I feel there isn't enough focus on gameplay, and aside from that the voice acting in this one sounds a touch amateur. That said I'm getting strong Quantic Dream vibes from this one so David Cage fans might find a lot to like.

The Uncertain: Light at the End is 15% off on Steam ($12.74) until October 15th.
