Devolver Digital will wreck you in new game show title - Fall Guys

Devolver Digital posted the trailer for their new jelly-bean game show title Fall Guys the other day, and the very first comment under the trailer was Devolver itself, saying "We'll wreck you all in this game." The internet seems to be very interested in taking them up on the challenge.

Fall Guys is a new form of online multiplayer title - not a battle royale, and certainly not an MMORPG. No, this is more akin to a weird contest, a combination between American Ninja Warrior and Let's Make a Deal. Check out the trailer for yourself:

Those interested in signing up for the upcoming beta can do so here. "Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout beta participants will hone their tottering technique across a range of randomized rounds for up to 60 players, including Door Dash, Tip Toe, Hex-A-Gone, Tail Tag, Hit Parade, Egg Hunt and Fall Mountain in anticipation of the game’s release for PC and PlayStation 4 in Summer 2020."

This game looks like a blast of candy-scented fresh air. I've recently gotten more into casual multiplayer games (thanks, Just Dance 2020!). I'm looking forward to taking Fall Guys for a run around the disco/laser track in a month or two.
