SEGA has made a key addition to its collection of PC developers and IP.  This past Thursday, SEGA acquired Two Point Studios, the team behind the comical simulator, Two Point Hospital.  The two companies had already collaborated together on the hospital sim under SEGA Europe's Searchlight program.  Now the Two Point Studios team can further leverage SEGA's platform.

Two Point Studios co-founder, Mark Webley, had this to say: "It's a landmark step for Two Point Studios and we're thrilled to be joining the SEGA family. We're looking forward to executing the next phase of our plans as we continue to evolve Two Point County."

Two Point Hospital allows players to fulfill their dreams of becoming a hospital administrator and building a hospital empire.  Two Point Studios has several unannounced projects in-the-works, which we can expect to see unveiled in the coming months.
