Developer Second Order has announced that their puzzler Claybook--previously released on Steam, PS4 and Xbox One--is coming to the Switch eShop on March 12th. Second Order is comprised of Ubisoft veterans from the Trials team, and their breakout title is intriguing to say the least. You are given 50 in-game shapes with which to solve puzzles, but that's only the beginning. Claybook gives you full control on object and terrain deformation, and the gameplay is just as focused on making new puzzles as it is on solving the ones that come packed in. Naturally you can share your custom stages and playgrounds with your friends list.

Claybook looks like more of a creativity toy than a traditional game; this is a title where you probably get as much out of it as you put in. Claybook will run you $14.99 when it launches next month.

Designed by team members behind the Trials series, Claybook will have you carving, balancing, and strategically maneuvering through imaginative putty puzzles. Claybook’s fully dynamic and transformable environment is only part of the fun, as the game also invites you to stretch your creative muscles and form your own pliable playgrounds for sharing to others across PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4! The Claybook editor gives you all the tools you need to bring your clayscape directly from your imagination to the screen!

In Claybook, you can choose from over 50 available in-game shapes and give your custom clay stages some oomph with gameplay mechanics that spawn possessable shapes and new objectives. Fill your world with solid clay or fluid-filled obstacles while creating cause and effect triggers to amp up the challenge. Whether you choose to mold puzzles that will stump even the most skilled players, or simply want to let your imagination run wild in sandbox mode, the possibilities are endless!

Claybook puts you in the role of an imaginative child who brings their creativity to life through the magic of the Claybook — a stage for all manner of moldable and magical creations. Utilizing innovative, custom “Clayfield” technology that creates true-to-life volumetric clay visuals and physics, Claybook challenges players to solve brain-bending puzzles, create and share moldable landscapes, and uncover the squishy possibilities of this limitless clayground.

Claybook will be available for Nintendo Switch through the Nintendo eShop starting March 12, 2019, for North America, Europe, Russia, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand. The game is currently available for Windows PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One for $14.99 and features full cross-platform access to community-generated content.
