Developer Altered Matter and publisher Foxnext have announced that their gravity-shifting puzzler Etherborn is coming to Nintendo Switch. Previously announced for PC and PS4, Etherborn challenges players to explore a beautifully abstract landscape where gravity is constantly changing and the environment shifts along with it. Some of the best parts of Mario Galaxy were the up-is-down sequences, so Nintendo gamers will probably feel right at home in Etherborn.
I'm also impressed that this game isn't just a pretty face. Many indie games with an evocative art style turn out to be walking simulators or long-form stories without much actual gameplay. Etherborn looks like a chill but mind-bending experience that should be a perfect fit for Switch. The game is slated for a Spring 2019 launch window.
