Jurassic World Evolution adds Cretaceous dinos in new DLC

More On: Jurassic World Evolution

Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom might have flopped, bu its park management game spinoff, Jurassic World Evolution, is cooking right along with new content. The latest DLC, the Cretacous Pack, ads three new dinosaurs from that eon. Dreadnoughtus, and yes that's a real dinosaur and not just something Dr. Wu came up with because it sounds cool, is a massive herbivore the size of a small house and the mass of a herd of elephants. Its name means "fears nothing," so I guess it's rather apt.

The second new dino is Carcharodontosaurus; its name is a bit of a mouthful which is appropriate, as the name means "jagged tooth." Carcharodontosaurus is a somewhat obscure carnivore, a bit bigger than a T-Rex but still not as huge as the massive Spinosaurus. It's bound to fill a nasty little niche in your park's ecosystem.

And last but not least we have reliable old Iguanodon, one of the earliest discovered dinosaurs with the first fossils found in 1825. As expected the understanding of its morpholoy and behavior has evolved a lot since the mid-1820s. Iguanodon is now believed to have walked on all fours, but to have stood on its hind legs for defense and to get difficut-to-reach food.

You can check out all three new species in the trailer below.
