Games like Doom and Duke Nukem 3D were my life growing up and while I still have a love for FPS games 20 years later, Doom and Duke Nukem are games that I can still go back to and enjoy today. They will never get old. Well whats old is new again as 1C Entertainment is currently working on Ion Maiden and have announced that it's coming to consoles next year.
Ion Maiden was made using the same technology that was used to make Shadow Warrior and Duke Nukem 3D so this isn't a game that is trying to be like a classic FPS game. This IS a classic FPS game updated with new features for modern day.
Ion Maiden will launch in 2019 on PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC.
If you interested in trying out the game, it's currently available in Steam early access and the game is currently sitting at an "Overwhelmingly Positive" user rating.
