Shadow of the Tomb Raider is coming four days and if you own a NVIDIA card, there are now new drivers available to download that will allow you to utilize some new features of the card.

The drivers coming out today will have you ready for the latest Lara Croft adventures and the upcoming open beta for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, two very popular titles.

Besides giving you optimized performance for Tomb Raider and a few other games, the drivers enable Ansel and Highlights to the upcoming title. You know how Spider-Man on the PS4's photo mode is all the rage currently? Ansel gives you a lot of those options as well allowing you freely move the camera around in a scene and apply filters to let you capture the perfect picture. Shadow and Insurgency Sandstorm will get Ansel support take some great pics in those titles once you install the drivers.

Highlights will automatically record those awesome events that happen to you in the game and this update also adds highlights to Dying Light: Bad Blood and Insurgency Sandstorm. Play and share those moments with others on Dacebook, YouTube or Weibo.

Game Ready for Shadow of the Tomb Raider

Today NVIDIA released a new Game Ready Driver for Shadow of the Tomb Raider which adds Ansel and Highlights support to that title. This driver will also provide the best game play experience for Assetto Corsa Competizione, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Blackout open beta, Dying Light: Bad Blood and Insurgency Sandstorm.

Available on or before launch day, NVIDIA Game Ready Drivers provide the best experience for GeForce gamers because NVIDIA engineers work up until the last possible minute to optimize performance and perfect gameplay.  And as an additional verification of quality, every Game Ready Driver is WHQL-certified by Microsoft.

Highlights added to Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Dying Light: Bad Blood, and Insurgency Sandstorm!

Another important aspect of NVIDIA Game Ready drivers is that they are often used as a delivery mechanism to add new features for our GeForce users.

In addition to Shadow of the Tomb Raider, this Game Ready driver adds NVIDIA Highlights support for Dying Light: Bad Blood.

Highlights automatically captures your greatest gaming achievements in video. Integrated directly with the game, it knows precisely when that magic moment will happen -- whether a boss fight or killing spree -- and automatically records it using ShadowPlay technology.  When the session is over, Highlights presents your Highlight Reel so you can relive your victories or share them via FB, YouTube, or Weibo.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Insurgency Sandstorm Get Ansel!

In addition to Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Insurgency Sandstorm also gets Ansel support with this driver.

Ansel is a revolutionary way to capture in-game photography. Compose your shots from any position, adjust with post-process filters, capture HDR images in high fidelity formats, and share your screenshots in 360 via your smartphone, PC, VR headset. Learn more on the Ansel Technology page.
