Star Trek: Bridge Crew now available for non-VR players

More On: Star Trek: Bridge Crew

Before this week, if you wanted to take on a crew member of a starship in Star Trek: Bridge Crew, you had to have a VR headset. That is actually no longer the case as a recent update to the game not only adds support for Windows Mixed Reality headsets, but it has also added support for non-VR players. PC and PS4 players can now take on the role of a bridge captain, tactical officer, engineer, and helm officer without needing a VR headset. For existing players there are graphical improvements that were made for non-VR players, but those with high end PCs can also see these improvements with a VR headset. If you think you have what it takes to sit on the bridge of a Starfleet ship, you can now go where no non-VR player has gone before...well, at least in Star Trek: Bridge Crew anyway.
