Original Mafia now available on GOG

"Leave the gun, take the canoli." 

Okay, that's from The Godfather, but it's still pretty relevant to today's news. Set in the 1930s in the fictional city of Lost Heaven, Mafia follows protagonist Tommy Angelo from his humble beginnings as a cabbie to a made man as he works his way up in the game. 

I never played the original game, but I am aware of its integral quality to the evolution of games in today's culture. I do have fond memories of its sequel, and its inspiration from various classic mob movies is very much appreciated. Read our review here.

In honor of the fifteenth anniversary of the original's release, it is now available on GOG for $14.99.
