I'm naturally suspicious of Steam Greenlight games--the service is going to be superseded soon anyway--and I'm doubly suspicious of entries in the oh-God-not-another-2D-platformer genre. Eon Break might just be the exception to the rule, however. Yes it's another side-scroller, but you play as a time-traveling Nicola Tesla who uses his dimension-bending powers to fight the Nazis and an army of mushrooms on the side. I would say that's at least worth a try. The new trailer looks pretty slick too. Eon Break is headed to PC later this year, and PS4 and Xbox One in 2018.
