Yeah that just happened.
Well I have to say this is kind of surprising since I figured Nintendo would be pushing the hell out of the Switch right now. I know Nintendo said they weren't going to immediately drop the 3DS but I still figured they would focus completely on the Switch from here on out. For the few of those out there that don't have a 3DS XL or a normal 2DS, Nintendo is now releasing a 2DS XL for those who want to upgrade and don't want to deal with 3D.
It looks pretty much like a normal 3DS XL but without the 3D slide bar of course. Also the black color with the blue trim, blue dpad and buttons looks pretty slick.
The New Nintendo 2DS XL will be available July 28th for $149.99.
