The Valkyria Chronicles series was one of the JRPG heavyweights during the PS3's lifespan. The most recent series installment, Valkyria Revolution, was released this past January in Japan on the PS4, and now it's making its way west on the PS4 and Xbox One.
The most interesting bit of information about this Western release is that the Xbox One version of the game will be exclusively Western, meaning that it will be unavailable on the Xbox One in Japan. This is a clear sign of an attempt at westward expansion, something I couldn't be more excited about. The Xbox family has always been left behind in the Japanese game department, and I'm happy to see it starting to catch up.
