Bioware is working on a brand new IP

With the release of Mass Effect Andromeda right around the corner the the team at Bioware posted a note on their blog to let fans know that they are working on a brand new IP.  This is exciting for those who are looking forward to something new from the company but decidedly less so for those hoping for a new entry in the Dragon's Age series (or even a new Jade Empire game).

The team has been working on the game since 2012 and the game is currently expected to ship by March 2018.  While I'm hopeful that the game will be released next year I wouldn't be surprised to see the game slip to holiday season or even 2019.
