Halo Wars 2 getting a physical release on Windows 10

If you thought Xbox One players would be reaping the rewards of Halo Wars 2 while PC players would be left out in the cold, Microsoft and 343 Studios have other plans. Courtesy of THQ Nordic of all publishers, Halo Wars 2 will be getting both standard and ultimate edition retail releases for Windows 10.

The ultimate edition has some attractive bonuses as well, including 4-day early access to the title, a season pass and Halo Wars: Definitive Edition, an updated port of the original game. Anyone who purchases the physical release of Halo Wars 2 will be granted digital access to the Xbox One version via Xbox Play Anywhere.

So yay, Halo Wars 2, coming February 21st! Hopefully once this is over with Creative Assembly can get back to making a sequel to Alien Isolation.
