Arizona Sunshine looks like it might satisfy my L4D VR cravings

I've been clamoring for a good co-op zombie shooter ever since I got my HTC Vive, but there hasn't been much out there. But in a few weeks, there might be one that takes that spot.

Arizona Sunshine started out as your typical VR wave shooter, but it looks like it's evolved so much more. Featured in Valve's VR video and also demoed at CES, the game was suppose to release over the Summer, but it was delayed without much word from the developer.

Well, now we know why. Vertigo Games has gone and taken a new approach to Arizona Sunshine and turned a wave shooter into a more adventurous game with a campaign mode. As you can see from the gameplay video below, you're no longer stuck in one spot and you're roaming areas, interacting with environments, and shooting at zombies.

The game will feature a co-op and a group horde mode as well. You can pre-order the game from Steam for $33.99. which is 15% off the full price.

December 6th will be the release date and it'll be available for both the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift
