HTC and LucasFilm produced a pretty fun little tech demo called Star Wars: Trials on Tatooine. In it, you're a Jedi and have to defend yourself with blasters and the ever trusty lightsaber. I heard it was a pretty graphically intensive tech demo and needed a pretty high end machine to run it. So chances were up in the air that Trials would be released to the public.
Looks like today, we'll be able to play it at home. LucasFilm and HTC are releasing Trials on Tatooine free via Steam. You'll be able to download it from this link once it goes live. We'll be sure to update this post once it does.
I'm sure a ton of Star Wars fans are itching to get their hands on this one. The lightsaber control looks fantastic and who doesn't want to be a Jedi?
