Music Unlimited is dead. Long live Playstation Music

Today Sony has officially swapped out the Music Unlimited service for Playstation Music, powered by Spotify. With 30 million songs and 1.5 billion playlists at your disposal this is kind of a big deal. I am big Spotify fan, it has gotten me through so many hours of studying and programming back in grad school and my internship that I am pretty excited about it enhancing my gaming life now as well. I've only just scratched the surface of the new PS4 application but using Spotify connect to hook my iPad to my PS4 and control my music without even having to hit a pause button seems like the bees knees (protip: the Spotify connect feature only works if both your console and mobile device are connected via wifi. My console sits right next to my router so I typically use an ethernet connection to get online but Spotify Connect wouldn't show until I switched the PS4 over to wifi).

I'm very eager to see where this whole partnership goes, as the blog post states: "This is just the beginning of Spotify on PlayStation Music, which will continue to evolve."
