Real-time strategy game Shallow Space: Insurgency debuts

England-based developer Special Circumstance Games has announced its debut game, Shallow Space: Insurgency. The game is described as a combination of space adventure and real-time strategy that has players utilizing fleets of ships to defend the human race. Created with inspiration from the Homeworld series and Nexus: The Jupiter Incident, the game is set in a galaxy contested by twelve colonies. Players take control of a spacecraft fleet to use in conquering sectors of space through both narrative missions and random encounters.
