Evolve Adds New Support Character

Turtle Rock Studios has announced a new character coming to an already deep roster for its upcoming multiplayer shooter, Evolve

William Cabot is the third and final support Hunter for the game. According to the post, Cabot has three main abilities that will help the team be more effective in taking down monsters. The first being his signature weapon: The Damage Amplifier, a weapon that locks on to its target, weakening its armor and hide, effectively doing double the damage.

Secondly, Cabot can summon his ship—the Laurie-Anne—to drop an air burst of radioactive dust, highlighting every living thing in a 60-meter radius for twenty seconds. This may sound odd, but with Cabot's third specialty—the Rail Cannon—he can shoot through rocks, trees, or anything the monster is hiding behind as long as he sees its outline.

Last week, Turtle Rock Studios revealed the third and final trapper coming to the game.

Evolve releases for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on February 10, 2015.
