Renegade Kid re-acquires the Dementium rights, celebrates with a sale

More On: Dementium II Moon Chronicles

According to Renegade Kid founder Jools Watsham's Twitter, his company has regained full publishing rights to their original series, Dementium. Released back on Halloween of 2007, the game (and its later sequel) were breakout horror titles on the DS. Now that any previous rights issues have been cleared up, Renegade Kid has full publishing control over their first series and can finally make sequels. Mr. Watsham has been teasing that he really enjoyed id's Rage, and how he'd like to incorporate similar design choices in a third Dementium game on 3DS. Color me excited.

To celebrate having all the kids under one roof again, as it were, Renegade Kid is having a digital sale on the Nintendo eShop. Currently Moon Chronicles: Episode 1 and Mutant Mudds are both 33% off, or $5.99. They are both great digital titles and a few of the truly good indie games out right now, so give them a look. Personally, I can't wait to see what Renegade Kid can do with the improved tech on the New 3DS next year.
