Check out the official Kano announcement trailer for Mortal Kombat X

Gamescom is here and the rumors were true. Kano makes his return to Mortal Kombat X and Eurogamer revealed the first official gameplay trailer.

Kano is now older, but has recieved a number of cybernetic upgrades to make him deadlier than he has ever been.

In the gameplay trailer we get to see Kano take on D'Vorah in the new Jungle arena, an ancient ruin once home to a forgotten Outworld race. If I had to guess, I would say that Kotal Khan might belong to that forgtten race as both Kotal Khan and the Jungle arena have an Aztec feel to them. 

Of course, with all MKX fighters, Kano will have three variations as well. 

• Cut Throat - Kano pounds on his cybernetic part, powering up his attacks and enhanced knife skills allows for a number of unique combos. 
• Cybernetic Kano - Gives Kano a variety of eye laser and grenade attacks. Perfect for zoning and allows him to attack from long rage and defend against air attacks. 
• Commando Kano - Enhances Kano's grapple skills, allows him to counter high and low attacks.
