Sony says HD era starts with them

In a sense, I do agree with some of Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios president Phil Harrison in this article from Eurogamer when he says the Xbox 360 doesn't have true HD functionality. For a system that touts HD and NOT be able to upscale DVDs as well as not include HDMI or DVI output (yet) does knock it down some as being a HD device. But for Mr. Harrison to say that true HD is 1080p? I don't know what you're smoking Mr. Harrison but you tell all the people that bought TVs that sport the HD logo about how their TV isn't true HD and see what their reaction to you is. As for the Xbox 360, I consider it an HD system but like a few things with the hardware and launch Microsoft dropped the ball on a few things.
