Sony confirms with Gamasutra, HDD is in!

Thank God Sony was smart on this one, unlike some other console manufacturer that shall remain nameless. Sony has confirmed to Gamastura that the 60GB HDD will indeed be standard for the Sony PlayStation 3. I applaud Sony for doing this and providing developers with the knowledge that can take advantage of the HDD for all PlayStation 3 units. Even if it was 20GB I'd been happy as long as there's a standard across the board for storage capacity. It's funny that the one company that started the HDD console inclusion wavers on whether to include it in their next generation console as a standard while the other one started out saying there won't be one in the system only to change their minds later on for the better.

Thanks Kotaku!
