EA has released an all new Treasure Hunt Mode for their popular Play4Free online PC game Need for Speed: World.  The new mode will have players hunting to collect various icons to earn rep and in-game cash rewards.  The icons will be reset daily to keep the challenge fresh for players.
Speed through the streets of Palmont and Rockport to find 15 hidden treasure icons in Need for Speed™ World, the popular Play4Free online PC action racing game from EA. Available now, the all-new Treasure Hunt mode challenges players to collect all the icons to earn valuable rep and in-game cash rewards.  Icons will be reset daily to keep the hunt fresh and exciting. This pick-up and play mini-game adds an addictive and lucrative new experience to the enormous, socially-connected racing gameplay in Need for Speed World.
Today is also the one year anniversary of Need for Speed World. In celebration of this milestone, players will receive an anniversary gift of 1000 SpeedBoost*, an exclusive vinyl and an exclusive license plate.
