2K Sports announced today that the semifinals and finals of the NHL 2K7 All Star Challenge Tournament (the very first national online tournament for NHL 2K7) - will be taking place at the NHL All Star Game in Dallas.
The semi-finals will be held during the All Star game pre-party on Wednesday afternoon with Marty Turco (Dallas Stars goaltender) in attendance as the MC of the event. The finalists will then get to play at center ice Wednesday night during the 2nd intermission of the NHL 2007 All-Star game.

All-New 2007 Dodge Nitro At 55th NHL All-Star Game
2K Sports is proud to announce today that the semi-finals and finals of
the NHL 2K7 All Star Challenge Tournament - the first national online
tournament for NHL 2K7 - will be taking place at the 55th NHL All Star
Game. Projected to have the highest attendance rating of any NHL All
Star Game to date, 2K Sports is proud to integrate its critically
acclaimed hockey video game, NHL 2K7, into the festivities surrounding
the NHL All-Star Game.
- As the official presenting sponsor of the 2007 NHL All-Star
Fan Balloting, fan balloting on NHL.com was supported by NHL 2K7 video
game highlight reels for each All-Star nominee.
- On Tuesday of NHL All-Star week, NHL 2K7 video footage will be
used in conjunction with the All Star Skills Challenge as instructional
guides of the actual All Star Skills Challenge events. NHL 2K7 video
footage will be shown on the arena Jumbotron and during the NHL
broadcast before each event.
- NHL 2K7 All Star Challenge Semi-Finals will be held at the
2007 All Star Game Pre-Party Wednesday afternoon of NHL All-Star week.
The event will happen from 3:00pm - 6:00pm CST in the Landmark Room with
the event being MC'd by Western Conference All Star, Marty Turco.
- The NHL 2K7 All Star Challenge Finals will take place on
center ice Wednesday night during the 2nd intermission of the 2007
