Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios have announced the Mortal Kombat Season Pass, which offers Mortal Kombat fans an added incentive to pick up all four new warriors at the same time for a reduced price compared to purchasing them individually.  The newcomers will begin arriving on June 21st with Skarlet, then followed by Kenshi, Rain, and a new unannounced entrant to the Mortal Kombat tournament.  Each warrior will have their own move set, ladder arcade story ending, and fatalities.

When the season pass goes on sale on June 21st, it'll cost 1200 Microsoft points to purchase all four as a package, whereas individually they'd cost 400 points apiece.  On top of that, to allow for seamless online play with the new warriors, free compatibility packs will be required to download with the release of each new warrior.  As an added incentive to that, each pack will come with two free klassic skins, the first of which, being released with Skarlet, will be Cyrax and Sektor skins inspired by Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3.  Even if you don't purchase the season pass or add-ons can still download the compatibility packs for free and gain access to the klassic skins.  I'm not a huge Mortal Kombat fan, but that sounds like a pretty good deal to me.  However, keep in mind the season pass is only for Xbox Live.  PlayStation users will still have access to the new warriors for $4.99 each.
