Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is shaping up to be one of next year's most interesting looking RPGs.  Its killer pedigree (Ken Rolston, Todd McFarland, R.A. Salvatore, and strangely enough, former MLB pitcher Curt Schilling) should put it on every RPG fan's radar.  Today, 38 Studios has announced details of Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning's various pre-order bonuses:
  • The Destinies Choice Pack gives players a "twist of fate" card that will enhance the beginning of game for everyone, and three unique armor sets, each tailored to one of the game's playable classes.
  • The Ultimate Treasure Hunter Pack gives players the Dowsing Rod that will uncover the locations of all potion reagents.
  • The Fate-Touched Weapons Pack grants access to "Fate-Touched" weapons including a longbow, hammer, staff, faeblades, daggers, scepter, chakrams, longsword, and greatsword.
