Mad Catz re-ups licensing agreement with Microsoft

Mad Catz announced today that they have renewed and expanded their licensing deal with Microsoft for Xbox 360 branded cases. These include backpacks, messenger bags and storage bags for controllers and accessories. The multi-year agreement covers the North American, Western Europe and Australian markets.

Mad Catz Renews Multi-Year License Agreement with Microsoft Corporation for Xbox 360(TM) Carrying Cases

SAN DIEGO --(Business Wire)-- Jul. 9, 2008 Mad Catz Interactive, Inc. (AMEX/TSX: MCZ), a leading third-party interactive entertainment accessory provider, announced today that it has renewed and expanded its multi-year licensing agreement with Microsoft Corporation ("Microsoft"). Pursuant to the agreement, Mad Catz has extended its rights to manufacture, market, and sell Xbox 360- branded console-carrying backpacks and messenger bags, as well as sling bags for controllers and other game accessories. The rights relate to North America, Western Europe and Australia.
