Business Week (?) has a nice summary
interview with
four MMO developers about their thoughts on where the industry is
headed and what they can do to make to make better games. The
only one I kind of disagree with is Brian Green's take on user created
content. While I agree with the gist of his argument (especially
when it comes to older games) I do think there is some value in user
created content/mods as it provides an avenue for amateurs to become
professionals (see the fine folks behind CounterStrike for one good
exapmle).
