HD Resident Evil titles confirmed for US

More On: Resident Evil 4 Resident Evil Code: Veronica X
Capcom has announced that it is in fact bringing HD versions of both Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil Code: Veronica X to North America this summer. The titles were announced last week for a compilation disc in Japan but will see digital release as individual titles here in the States.

Both titles will be seeing a bump in their visual resolution as they make the transition to both the Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network. While it hasn’t been explicitly stated, you can expect to see achievements and trophies added as well. Please note that these titles won’t be full “remakes” as was seen a few years back with the original Resident Evil title on gamecube, but rather visual enhancements meant to bring the graphics up to par with modern televisions.

You can read the full press release regarding the announcement of both titles on the next page and check out a few images directly from Capcom below, showing the visual improvements being made to RE4.
