Hal Jordan aka The Green Lantern has been revealed as the latest DC Superhero in DC Universe Online. I'm almost waiting for SOE to starting announcing who's not in the game as I would imagine all the major heroes are going to make the game. Personally I'm still waiting on Booster Gold but I'm not sure he'll warrant a press release.
Hal Jordan has followed in his father's footsteps and acquired the power ring and lantern his dad was given by a dying alien whose spaceship crashed on Earth. The alien's objective was to find an individual who is "utterly honest and born without fear" all which describes the character of Hal Jordan.
Hal is the premier Green Lantern in the famed Green Lantern Corps, an intergalactic police force. Armed with his ring, which creates hard light constructs powered by his imagination, Hal patrols Earth with his mantra:
"In brightest days, in blackest night,
No evil shall escape my sight.
Let those who worship evil's might
Beware my power, Green Lantern's light!"
