Microsoft has finally realized that having a weekly sale like Steam, Impulse, and Direct2Drive is a good thing as you can now
score the PC version of
Batman:Arkham Asylum for 75% off. This is a great deal on one of the best games of 2009 (seriously, John won't
shut up about it).
Microsoft is going to be having a sale each weekend in March but you have to wonder if it's too late for them to get into this game. Their other competitors do a better job (and have more titles on sale) and the Games for Windows brand has little brand value. That said it is a good deal and MS could make some hay if they keep up with cheap high profile titles so we'll see what happens.
