recapped by Joystiq from the WWI08 will ease your concerns. NVIDIA and AMD are touting their DirectX 10 video cards but the folks at Blizzard have no plans for DirectX 10 for the game currently. Now things could change down the road and they could also implement a patch later on to add it but there are no current plans to use that technology. That's good news for folks like me who stick with XP.
