Brink dev diary explains the direction in art and setting

And ain’t that the truth. Brink definitely has a unique style to it, and Splash Damage discusses how that came to be under the direction of Olivier Leonardi - the Art Director on the project - in this latest developer diary. The idea was to bring color into the first person shooter genre, and the game looks to benefit from this artistic decision. The setting takes inspiration from real world locations like San Diego and Rio de Janeiro, as you can see in the glimpses of the game below.
