More On: Tekken Tag Tournament 2
No, this isn’t the start of a horrible joke, it is a semi-accurate description of Namco’s Tekken Tag Tournament 2. The team-based brawler is preparing for a huge reveal at this weekend’s AOU show, Japan’s largest amusement expo, but the trailer produced for the show has already hit the internet.

In the video, shown below, gamers are treated to gameplay from what is arguably the most complete version of the game shown to date. Throughout the footage, nearly the entire roster of the game is revealed albeit in short glimpses. It is noted during the trailer, which is in Japanese, that the final game will have more than 40 characters on the roster.

The following are confirmed for being included in the game:
  • Alisa Bosconovich
  • Anna Williams
  • Armor King
  • Asuka Kazama
  • Baek Doo San
  • Bob
  • Bruce Irvin
  • Bryan Fury
  • Christie Monteiro
  • Craig Marduk
  • Devil Jin
  • Eddy Gordo
  • Feng Wei
  • Ganryu
  • Heihachi Mishima
  • Hwoarang
  • Jaycee
  • Jin Kazama
  • Jinpachi Mishima
  • Julia Chang
  • Jun Kazama
  • Kazuya Mishima
  • King
  • Kuma
  • Lars Alexandersson
  • Lee Chaolan
  • Lei Wulong
  • Leo
  • Lili Rochefort
  • Ling Xiaoyu
  • Marshall Law
  • Miguel Caballero Rojo
  • Mokujin
  • Nina Williams
  • Panda
  • Paul Phoenix
  • Raven
  • Roger Jr.
  • Sergei Dragunov
  • Steve Fox
  • True Ogre
  • Wang Jinrei
  • Yoshimitsu
  • Zafina
Their is only one new name in that bunch: Jaycee. The rest of the roster should be familiar to Tekken fans all across the world. I have never been a huge fan of the Tekken series, but this new game looks amazingly solid and I may have to give it a try when and if it hits consoles...
