Isometric platformer Lumo now available on PS4 and Steam

More On: Lumo

If you're around my age, or just really love classic NES games, you might remember a game called Solstice.  For those that don't, Solstice was an isometric platformer/puzzle game where you control a wizard named Shadax as he traverses the fortress of Morbius the Malevolent to rescue Princes Eleanor.  Long story short, the game is fun but it can take a while, especially if you're like me and get lost really easily.

Anyway, if you liked that game or it's sequel Equinox for the Super NES, then you'll probably enjoy Lumo from Rising Star Games.  Lumo contains over four hundred rooms to explore throughout four different zones, as well as six hidden mini-games and all sorts of stuff to uncover.  While I wasn't that good at Solstice or Equinox, Lumo looks fun from the trailer below so I might end up giving it a shot at some point.  Lumo is currently available for Steam and the PS4 for $19.99, with PS Vita and Xbox One versions coming in June.  Lumo will also feature cross-save functionality between the PS4 and PS Vita versions.
