We have another busy week lined up for gamers as we roll towards the end of June. With E3 just a few weeks away, we’re still plugging through all of the big releases that we were shown last year. A few of those games are launching this week.

Homefront: The Revolution will be an interesting one to watch. This is one of the games that was lost in the shuffle of THQ’s closure. I absolutely loved the last installment of the series, even though most critics felt that it was average at best. It is my hope that this one delivers the same incredible world that was created before.

Sony is bringing back a classic with an updated version of Shadow of the Beast. The game was originally released on the Amiga back in 1989 and was later ported to several other consoles. The reimagined version of the game is exclusive to the PS4 and follows the exact story of its predecessor. Our review for the game went live this morning and Matt felt it was an admirable action game but fell short of becoming a true classic like the original.

If you want a really good remake, then I suggest checking out Valkyria Chronicles Remastered on the PS4. Sega’s incredible, tactical RPG is only a few years old, but it is an incredible experience. Perhaps this wasn’t a game truly due for a remastering, but it still remains one of the most epic adventures you can take in gaming.
