The Doom series has long been known for its high graphical standards--Doom 3 pioneered a whole new era of visuals back in 2004--and now Nvidia is using the new Doom to show off their brand new GTX 1080 card. This gameplay video shows the game running the card on the Vulkan API and locked at 60fps, and it's smooth as butter. The card is of course capable of a lot more, and thankfully PC players will be able to unlock the framerate to get some truly insane speeds. Check out the footage below to get a look.
