Deus Ex: Mankind Divided 101

More On: Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

We may have to wait until August 23rd for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, but Square Enix has a new "101" trailer to ease the wait. Elias Toufexis is in fine form as always, fresh off his stint in Far Cry Primal as Takkar, to reprise his role as cyborg badass Adam Jensen and narrate this trailer. Jensen basically fills in the blanks that happened since Human Revolution and details his new mission to Prague, where he must investigate a growing conspiracy amid the augmented human apartheid.

Toufexis runs down the story and gameplay details in a very cool in-universe style, exploring his various choices and approaches to problems and the consequences of varying play styles. In particular I noticed the facial animation is vastly improved over the jerkiness of the last game, one of the few flaws in Human Revolution's otherwise stellar visual presentation.

Hopefully I'll be preoccupied enough with Doom next month and No Man's Sky hasn't bored me to tears by August, because after that last delay the wait for Mankind Divided has been an especially nasty kind of painful for this Deus Ex fan.
