Wait a little longer to get Slain!

More On: Slain

"Castlevania meets Metalocalypse meets Slayer" Slain! is pushed back. The developers wanted more time to tweak the platforming to make it a little less brutal. Slain! will now launch on Steam on March 24. Throw up the devil horns and watch yourself get stomped to bloody bits a whole bunch.

Again, Slain! launches on Steam on March 24. Still no date for the purported Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Wii U versions.

Wolf Brew Games and Digerati Distribution are sad to say from their deepest, darkest metal hearts that you're going to have to wait a little longer before you can reign in the blood of monsters, demons and evil lords as the Nordic warrior Bathoryn in gruesome gothic puzzle-combat platformer Slain!.

The game needs a few last tweaks because right now no mortal man or woman could possibly get past Slain!'s intense platforming, traps and monstrosities. Luckily the wait isn't too long as Slain! will now launch March 24 on Steam.

If you're unfamiliar with Slain!, think Castlevania meets Metalocalypse meets Slayer. The game pays homage to the hack-and-slash action titles of the '80s and '90s, but features a strategic twist that has players use elemental weapons, Mana spells and cunning skill to exploit the weaknesses of enemies such as werewolves.
