October is dwindling down but the flow of new releases surely isn’t. This week brings the latest chapter of the Assassin’s Creed saga with Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. It is important to note that this chapter is only available for current gen consoles, so if you haven’t upgraded yet, you might want to begin thinking about doing so. This is a growing trend that we are seeing a lot of as both the Xbox 360 and PS3 are starting to be phased out of numerous developers plans.

One of the new games that isn’t skipping the older platforms is the new Guitar Hero title. Music fans have the ability to pick it up for either older or current generation consoles this week. Things are going to be a bit different this time around, so don’t plan on jumping right in and picking up where you left off with either the previous game or one of the Rock Band titles. We’re talking about a whole new guitar configuration and gameplay concept.

Pinball fans might want to keep an eye on the Balls of Glory Pinball Pack which brings four new tables to Zen Studios fantastic digital pinball platform. The tables include themed creations for Family Guy, American Dad, Bob’s Burgers and Archer.
