Darkest Dungeon comes to reality this coming January

Despite being an incredibly solid and polished experience in its current form, Red Hook Studios’ Darkest Dungeon is still considered to be in early access. That status is only going to last a few more months though as the developer has unveiled an official release date for the game. Darkest Dungeon will become an official release on January 19, 2016.

If you aren’t familiar with the game, you really should take steps to change that. The game is a gothic, dungeon crawling RPG that is all about the stress and mental anguish that adventures experience on dark adventures. You’ll take a team of recruited adventurers through a variety of evil quests and witness their slow descent into madness. It is an emotional adventure that truly tests the players’ and the characters’ resolve.

The game is available now on Steam in early access form. Both PS4 and Vita versions have been confirmed but it is currently unknown if those ports will launch alongside the PC version on January 19.
