Valve and Zen: something is brewing between these two

A mysterious image popped up online this week, which you can see below, courtesy of the Zen Studios Twitter account. It appears as though Valve and Zen Studios has something up their proverbial sleeves in the pinball department. Nothing aside from the image has been revealed which has led to a ton of speculation from fans everywhere. The easiest thing to conclude is that some sort of pinball table (or, hopefully, tables) based on Valve properties is heading our way. There are a ton of possibilities with franchises like Team Fortress, Half Life, Left 4 Dead, and Portal.

Personally, I think it would be absolutely HILARIOUS if they released Half Life 3 strictly as a pinball table just to troll fans. Come on, you know that you would laugh too. In all seriousness, the property that I think has the most potential for an interesting table is Portal. Can you imagine having some variation of the Portal gun involved, which would have your pinball moving from one end of the table to another? That would be awesome!

Hopefully we will get some official clarification on what is being worked on soon.
